色指数 13065 Merck 14,5928 BRN 3831568 黄色粉末。易溶于水，呈橙黄色，加入盐酸呈红色并产生沉淀，加入氢氧化钠溶液颜色不变，但过量后有沉淀产生。易溶于乙醇、乙醚、苯和乙二醇乙醚，微溶于丙酮。于浓硫酸中呈紫色，稀释后有红色沉淀产生；于浓硝酸中呈蓝色，后逐渐变为橙色。染色时遇铜离子色泽暗绿；遇铁离子色泽较浅；遇铬离子色泽略有变化。
